Law Student / Legal Internships
Fall 2021: Open
The National Immigration Project is seeking applicants for legal internships in our Washington, DC office. For 49 years, the National Immigration Project has persistently promoted justice and equality of treatment in all areas of immigration law, the criminal justice system, and policies related to immigration. We provide technical assistance and support to legal practitioners, immigrant communities, community-based organizations, and all advocates seeking and working to advance the rights of noncitizens. Since its founding, the National Immigration Project has served as a progressive source for cutting-edge, advocacy-oriented legal support on issues critical to immigrant rights. Our success is built upon the membership and tax-deductible contributions of thousands of supporters nationwide.
Communications and Resource Development Internships
Currently Not Available
Communications and Resource Development interns at the National Immigration Project support our mission by developing and expanding Communications initiatives, such as producing web-based content, augmenting the organization’s public profile, and maximizing digital and social media; and Resource Development initiatives, by helping solicit and compile a Commemorative Program Book used at a fundraising reception during the annual American Immigration Lawyers Association convention, and assisting the organization’s membership of over 1,000 immigration legal practitioners nationwide. For Communications and Resource Development internships, all cover letters, resumes, writing samples, and questions may be directed by email to Hilda Bonilla at HBonilla@nipnlg.org.
